With 3.7 million unique users and over 14 million visits per month, k-digital is one of the most important news services in Austria. Using a single Drupal CMS instance as a content hub, k-digital operates multiple popular portals, including kurier.at, futurezone.at, k.at, profil.at, film.at, events.at, freizeit.at, motor.at, and lust-auf-oesterreich.at.
As the project grew and evolved alongside the company, it has became a significant challenge to:
- Maintain stable performance.
- Design scalable long-term architectural decisions.
